King Bambo II
At the end of 2005 the original catamaran King Bambo was replaced with a Roberton and Caine Leopard 45. Offering more comfort, this vessel was adapted for the typical diving charters offered by King Bambo Diving Charters. Additional battery capacity for charging facilities, as well as refrigeration and, fuel resevoirs, upgrades together with customised desalination facilities (notwithstanding specialised facilities for diving) have made the vessel autonomous for 2 weeks with 6 clients aboard.
Accomodation
King Bambo Charters accomodates 6 clients in 3 double cabins each with private shower and toilet facilities.
With a custom built external hardtop, the outdoor dining area has become the dining area of preference. Rarely used for meals the indoor salon/dining area, is more preferred for downloading films and pictures, preparing cameras and filming equipment, also for viewing the days events on the salon TV.
Advanatages
With a Mechanical Engineer as your host, and a good selection of Tools and Spares on the vessel, most technical problems are prevented by good maintenace schedules, However should any occur during a charter they can be usually be resolved without significant disruption.
